Getting sketches made from images?

I am considering using that sketching technology to give a uniform look to a few dozen pictures of "things". So, instead of having very picture look totally different, I'd like to fee each into a program and have it generate sketches for each.

I just want the final image, not the sketching process.

Who has this?

Thanks.

What exactly do you mean by "that sketching technology"? And can you post an example of the sketch that it would generate?

Sorry, I forget the name but it's all over the web. You feed in a picture and it can draw that picture right in front of the user.

You pick the pen, the hand and input your image. It just starts drawing until he picture's done. Meanwhile, it's typical for a voice-over at the same time...

I forget the name of it...

So I can not find an example. There are dozens of companies making tools and thousands upon thousands of videos use it.

Can you post just a single example?

Do  you mean something like this:

Interesting — it's a new area for me. I just Googled "sketch from photo" and, as you said earlier, there are dozens of tools out there. Have you tried any of those sketch-from-photo sites? If so, how are they coming up short for you?
No, I have not had time to research which ones have favorable terms of use and was hoping to find the good one from EE ;)

Sorry...can't help you with that based on personal experience. I jumped into the question because one of your Topics is Document Imaging, and I have a Search notice in place for that, as it is an area of expertise for me. Although this question is not about Document Imaging, it piqued my interest when I saw it, which is why I responded. But now I'm going to sit back and learn from the experts in this area. :)  Regards, Joe

Sweet, where do I get that program? I have a Windows 7 VM so I could run it.

I assume it takes no labor to run it?

Also, I do like the cartoony effect of the services I posted. I will do more searching on my own...

You MAY have to download a plugin if you can't find it in the Effects menu ―> Artistic options ―> Pencil Sketch...

If you have problems installing the plugin, please post.
Thanks!
BTW:

The words I could not recall were

1) VideoScribe
2) Sparkol
3) Whiteboard Video Tool

Enjoy!
Good luck & thanks for the points!
Thanks for posting those words. I learned a lot on this thread. And a special thanks to Paul! I use paint.net occasionally, but had no idea that it could do what he posted. Regards, Joe
