Mercruiser 4.3L EFI is smelling gas fra the engine room.<br />
Took of the flame arrestor, &nbsp;and see 2 barrels having gas gushed into them when running motor.<br />
Think the smell comes from the carb somewhere. &nbsp;No leaks can be found.<br />
On the flame arrestor there are two hose studs, one has a hose going down under<br />
somewhere, wheras the other stud has no hose on it. &nbsp;Is this right ?<br />
Please advise if you think this smell is a symptom of something wrong with the carb,<br />
and possibly dangerous.<br />
