As you have his email account associated to his Office 2013 and contact numbers that you might have used when you purchased the license give this a try --call the microsoft support team and see if they can give you a duplicate key if your office 2013 license is still valid.

Anyway, I just reformatted his laptop and now he needs his Office 2013. We do not have the key and the email account associated to his Office 2013 is the account he closed<br />
