I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

is a very general error as you know
my first guess is that you have your data-source still pointing to your local PC instead of SQL server. But i would add a Stacktrace to be sure.

have you don step into through the code on the other machine ?

Other machine does not have visual studio, I am writing to even to see which line has the error.

how do I enable Stacktrace?
