Office 365 encrypted email issue

I receive encrypted emails from an office 365 user regularly. I always get a notification email with a html attachment, open the attachment, sign in, and the message is there however beginning today all new messages get the following error when I click sign in after opening the html.. "We can't display your message right now, something went wrong". The strange thing is if I go to an email sent last week it opens fine.  Also, normally there are circles with arrows in them next to the option to sign in and the option to use a one time password however in all the emails that do not work the circles are not there and there are grey shaded boxes around the words.  I called microsoft but they refused to help since I am not the office 365 subscriber.  Please HELP

Try it with a different browser? If it's still not working, get the sender to open a case with MS, they will need to take a look at example message.

OK, this seems to be indeed an issue on the backend. Here's the info that MS posted:

Current Status: Engineers are investigating an issue in which some users are experiencing problems accessing certain encrypted email messages. Currently, engineers are analyzing the affected infrastructure to determine the underlying root cause of the issue. Due to the volume of data that needs to be examined, engineers will require several hours to complete their initial investigation.

User Experience: Affected users are receiving an error when they try to open an encrypted message that states, “We can't display your message right now. Something went wrong and your encrypted message couldn't be opened. To view the message, follow the instructions in the original email message and try again.”

Customer Impact: Customer impact appears to be limited at this time. This issue is only affecting a small percentage of messages encrypted with Office 365 Message Encryption (OME).

I'm currently having this issue.   I've been working with Microsoft for over 1 month on it.  I got Microsoft to send me test encrypted emails, I cannot open them, and they cannot open them using my password from the O365 acct I created when attempting to open it.    They are stumped and running sending me in circles.   Any ideas or other reports of this that have been solved?
