Is there possibility to add security setting to the PDF file that will disable "Save As" option?

Thanks in advance!

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You cannot completely prevent any type of file which is distributed via the web from being saved or copied.  You can, to some degree, protect and secure the data.

1. Open your document in Adobe Acrobat Pro

2. Select "Tools" then select "Protection"

3. Select "Encrypt with Password"

4. Select "Restrict Editing and Printing of the Document"

5. Enter a password in the box labeled "Change Permissions Password"

6. Choose "None" for the "Printing Allowed" and "Changes Allowed" options.

7. Make sure that "Enable Copying of Text, Images and Other Content" is NOT selected.

8. Save the document
