JDBC escape processing for network path

I have a sql file which is a insert statement. One of the values to be inserted is a path to the network drive.Something like '\\abc-gc\new\test_folder\' JDBC escape processing is turned on while running this file to the database (oracle). What change needs to be made for the path for this to run ?

Can you please give more details about what you are doing? eg. what are you using to "run this file to the database", can you post the exact contents of the file, etc.
Do you mean TNS config location like ORACLE_HOME?
Use thin driver, it is faster and more stable.
