We have a network, and everybody login.  Now, three users want to share a printer; where it stands, there is no place to plug it in on the network, would like to use wireless so that three people can use it.  I can set up the printer, and set up the wireless, but how can I set up the printer so we can login?

Thank you.

Give the printer a static IP on your network so that users may set up the printer on the computers and point to the printer.  That will work.

On a side note: Wireless Printers are less reliable than Wired printers. Get a small 4-port switch and connect the printer up by Ethernet. Then connect as per above on a static IP address on your network.

If you are using a network with for example Active Directory servers, just make one of your servers a print server. Then you can use Active Directory to allow those groups you specified to those printers.
