setup for sql server 2012
I have set up a sql install in the past and unfortunately it installed the system files on the c partition.
I am trying to see if I can set the system db's to install to my logical d drive.
I would like to avoid moving these db's after the install location.
is there a place in the setup routine that lets you identify the default location of mdf files and ldf files.
if so, is it automatically shown do you in the setup. or is this in an advanced setup location of some sort
