I have set up a sql install in the past and unfortunately it installed the system files on the c partition.<br />
I am trying to see if I can set the system db's to install to my logical d drive.<br />

I would like to avoid moving these db's after the install location.<br />
<br />
is there a place in the setup routine that lets you identify the default location of mdf files and ldf files.<br />
if so, is it automatically shown do you in the setup. &nbsp;or is this in an advanced setup location of some sort<br />
