I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

On holiday for the next week or so but will look at this when I return.

Here is a small BAT script that should do the transfer, adjust the first few lines with your FTP info and give it a try.

@echo off

REM Define parms for FTP transfer
set ftpHost=
set ftpUser=username
set ftpPass=password
set ftpFiles=D:\Myfiles\archive\*.*
set ftpDest=C:\DownloadedFiles

REM Execute the FTP transfer
ncftpget -u %ftpUser% -p %ftpPass% -a -V -F -Z -DD %ftpHost% "%ftpDest%" "%ftpFiles%"
