SCCM 2012 - Software Inventory - Schedule modify

Hey folks, our software inventory and file collection in SCCM 2012 is set to run to on the default schedule every 7 days, I've got a request to do a once off run immediately, is this possible, or would it involve me changing the default client setting to 1 (every day) to get around this, I can't see any options to run this immediately,
Any help would be most appreciated.
 Thanks and Regards,
 Craig

Changing the settings to one day and letting the machines refresh the policy is the better idea.

If you want to force it try this.

Hi,

Another option is to create another custom settings policy that only applies to a certain collection with a rule. The schedule can then be very aggressive (5 mins) but then the rule won't apply and revert to the default. I prefer to leave the default policy alone and create new policies as needed, e.g. laptops, desktops, servers.
