Hi Experts,

We moved all mailboxes to a new database due to corruption. The mailbox move went well and the users are able to connect. However exchange admins can no longer open users mailbox on the new database. Is there any permission that needs to be applied. Thanks.

By default, Exchange admins are not allowed or have any permission on user mailbox, even you are member of Exchange Org Group also. You need to add full mailbox permission via GUI or PS command manually.

We have 5 databases and all admins have access, it now only this newly created database that we moved that is having the issues. No permissions were changed, all we did is created a new database and moved mailboxes into it.

Because you added permission at DB level and Inheritance won't work, when you set permission at DB level. I gave you the right article, you need to use this article to avoid this issue in future.
