Exchange 2003 , email delivery to a particular user is slow

Windows 2003 SBS server SP2
Exchange 2003 SP2

we have one user who receives he's emails last( delayed by 30 secs or so)

I have checked his machine and allowed outlook through windows firewall , AV has been uninstalled for the moment to test.

Any other ideas?

Thanks,

by 2012 i think you mean 2013. If so Outlook 2013 is not compatible with Exchange 2003.

By any chance do other working users use older versions of Outlook?

Think your in need of an Exchange upgrade here tbh. aside from this issue.

What I would do to see if this will work as a workaround for you is this.

Delete the outlook profile, Create a new one for the user, Select Manual setup therefore bypassing alot of the Autodiscover process and stuff which is not related to 2003 Exchange, Set this profile up in non cached exchange mode and see how this one pans out.
