Im not able to get the Lync presence for a users on IE11.

The below is the  most important part of the code which is not working :

var nameCtrl = new ActiveXObject('Name.NameCtrl.1');

if (nameCtrl.PresenceEnabled)
{

	nameCtrl.OnStatusChange = onStatusChange;
	nameCtrl.GetStatus(sipUri, "1");
}

Open in new window

The nameCtrl.PresenceEnabled is always returning false result on IE11 but its working fine on the oldest versions
I tried to search on this issue on the net but I couldn't find any result

Any one can help me please?.

I wonder if a different direction would be a good approach, rather than using outdated COM objects, like the Lync SDK?
