I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

2003, huh?
I'd suggest finding or creating a user with full access to the server then using it to pull a copy of whatever you want using any of a gazillion free windows or mac backup utilities.
It would be way easier than travelling down memory lane!

You should really consider replacing that OpenServer box, but anyway

1) FTP/SFTP - Requires the destination machine to be running a configured FTP server

2) RSYNC - (recommended) - Requires:
1) The destination machine to have a RSYNC server installed and configured
2) Any system needing to send files will need a RSYNC client

OpenServer may already have these setup, as will most/some Linux distributions.
(I'm not sure about Mac OS). Windows will require software
