I have mapped a network drive to the agents path and installed the agent on the server<br />
<br />
I have run the setdpmserver command on the target machine and this completes successfully <br />
<br />
However within DPM i get the following error message when i try to attach the server <br />
<br />
Data Protection Manager Error ID: 307<br />
<br />
The protection agent operation failed because DPM detected an unknown DPM protection agent on srv-p1.domain.local.<br />
<br />
Use Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel to uninstall the protection agent from srv-p1.domain.local, then reinstall the protection agent and perform the operation again.<br />

I have tried to reinstall once and this has not worked<br />
