Replace FotiGate 60C to FortiGate 100D

Hello Experts,
I want to replace our FortiGATE 60C to 100D and I want to know if we can backup the configuration of 60C (v4.0,build0672,130904) and restore it to the new FortiGATE.
60C model has a Wi-Fi and the 100D does not have a W-Fi built-in – This will cause a problem to restore 60C in 100D?
In addition we need a Wi-Fi AP which can hold 50 devices (Laptop, Cell-Phone etc.) – What do you recommend?

Thanks,
Osher.

someone on EE already answered the same kind of question here.

basically it is feasible if the header and the interface names are the same.

From our experience, a firewall that has been used (and possibly continuously changed) over several years may have quite a bit of junk left over, so even IF the import of the old config into the new firewall works, doing a manual migration could ensure that you are up-to-date as to policies etc ...
