Outlook 2011 MAC moved 60K emails from inbox

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The time taken will depend on a variety of factors such as connection speeds (is it internal, external, what speeds are the network connections, etc), how busy the computer and server are at the time, what Exchange is doing, etc.

Generally when moving large amounts of data around in Exchange mailboxes I'd usually recommend leaving the computer system on overnight to synchronise accordingly. Unless it's a really poor connection or there's something wrong with the server an overnight sync should be fine.

I wouldn't attempt to kill the process as this could cuase conflicts between the computer and the server which may lead to messages going missing.
