IMAP email accounts going to personal folder in Outlook 2010

Hello, I just rebuilt a client's system because of a major windows issue.  The client had about 5 imap email accounts inboxes in outlook 2010 pointing the personal folder inbox.  This was was NOT done via rules.

Does anyone know how to do this with IMAP setups?

Are you sure they go into the personal or are they displayed under one heading as an aggregate from all accounts?
Usually, you can only alter settings under the account dealing with where to place junk, sent, etc.

If you go to the individually listed accounts, are the respective inboxes empty?

I am pretty sure that it was going to one inbox... what do you mean by "as an aggregate from all accounts"?   There was only one inbox.

From what I know the imap is designed to sync so putting it into one inbox would not make sense how would it know how to what to include in the sync, etc...

I have an image of the problem setup so I may implement it so I can inspect it more...

I don't believe there was any inbox in the respective accounts, again this did not make sense to me.

This was a problem with the email hosting service.  They said they weren't having problems then one week later they had major issues.  Once the resolved the major outage we have had no issues.
