Trapeze MX-200R Controller

Hi all

I have a customer with a Juniper/Trapeze wifi network and controlling it is a MX-200R model unit
They have no access to the controller as the password can't be obtained(previous management company is gone and no info left behind)

I see various password reset documents online but conflicting info in relation to what happens when we reset the enable password - so my question is when I reset the password do I lose the config? Or is the process like the Cisco world where you keep the config when resetting the enable password?

I've not touched one in a while, but IIRC you lose the lot.

Hi Craig...

Ok, without the password can the config be backed up? Basically they have a Ringmaster system which is connected to the controller and I can see the controller listed with all the AP's etc...can this system be used to export config do you know?

I'm not familiar with this kit at all coming from the Cisco if I have to reset everything I'd like to be able to build it up again

The login to the Ringmaster is ***** so I can't see the password, but it is logging in and from what I understand this software is used to manage the kit - are you familiar with that software at all?

Thanks, looks like no options with these units bar a factory reset...
