Windows Server 2008 Welcome Page shows as default user a removed user

Hi there Experts,

I have created a Windows Server 2008 VM via vmWare Workstation

The easy install wizard of vmWare’s workstation requires to type a username in order to continue with the installation.
So I did and I gave the username “Demo”.

Once the installation completed I logged in with Administrator’s default account and deleted the user Demo and its Profile.

Now every time that I restart the VM and although that the Demo user does not exist, on Windows Welcome page I see the error message “the username or password is incorrect” , I click Ok and then the Demo user shows up and I have to switch user in order to log in as an Administrator.

I have tried to recreate and re-delete,  hide the specific user with no luck.

The question is: How do I get rid of Demo user in order the Windows Welcome page to show only Administrator’s account ??

Thanks,
Mamelas

from an elevated command prompt
net user administrator /active:yes

The reason why.. is when you create the first user the default administrator account is disabled
