MS Access Reports - Column (Group) does not exist in the appropriate rowset

Hi Expert,

I have a report and an SPR

In the SPR I have:

AS Group

so when I try and run the report I get the error:
Column (Group) does not exist in the appropriate rowset

What am I doing wrong? is Group a word I should not be using?

Please help and thanks

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Please use industry standard abbreviations:
https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=SPR

So by SPR, do you mean "Spreadsheet"?

Spreadsheet Grouping will not translate directly into Report Groupings.

" is Group a word I should not be using?"
It is not clear if that is your problem here, ...but yes, you should avoid using names that are "reserved"
(ex. Name, Group, Page, Caption, Database, date, ..etc)

It is not clear how your report is designed, so it is hard to say what that error means.

Can you post a simple sample database, clearly showing what your raw data is, ...
And also include a clear, Graphical representation of the exact output you are looking for.

Thanks
