Org1 - exchange 2003 outlook 2007
Org2 - lotus notes
Issue - when a meeting request is sent from Outlook (org1) to someone on notes (org2) it appears in the users mailbox ok. They have the option to accept, decline, propose new time etc. If propose new time is selected then a email is sent back to the users mailbox (org1) but the proposal just appears in text within the email subject. The meeting author has no option to accept the new time.
Is this possible or is it a functionality that just doesn't work between the two platforms
I also noticed on the email received by the author showing the new proposed time - that this appears to have a sender of the author not the notes user..

Well R9 has been installed and no difference in the functionality.

I think your third point is the most likely in our scenario
You might try the compatibility mode they describe in the article, just to see whether it solves your problem. On the other hand, it may create some additional problems.
By the way: what versions are the Notes client and the Domino server?
