"Operation is not valid due to the current state of the object."

Event ID 5555 -> i have change the Timer jobs recycling time AM to PM

for  User profile page not display  number of count in the page first check services , connection ,

IISRESET /NOFORCE   /  timer services restart

Changed timer jobs to PM

IISreset /noforce

timer services ??? was not sure what he meant by this? where in services or in SharePoint ?

I also saw something about deleting old databases?

Stsadm -o sync -listolddatabases 2
 Stsadm -o sync -deleteolddatabases 2

But that was from this one http://seth.killey.me/?p=246
No User Profile Application available to service the request.

When I do that I get this
PS C:\> Stsadm -o sync -listolddatabases 2

User Profile Application 'User Profile Service Application' - Partition '0c37852
b-34d0-418e-91c6-2ac25af4be5b'
ID: 95ef4832-d83b-45e6-b769-1d40bab79310  Synchronized: 6/13/2015 1:00:00 PM

PS C:\>

Should I do this then "Stsadm -o sync -deleteolddatabases 2"

Thanks

This seems to be caused when the SharePoint Timer service recycles to free up resources, just before the Profile Sync job, and hasn't completed by the time that job is scheduled.  The timer service is sort of the the "master" service that runs all sorts of things from workflows to db maintenance etc.

I think it defaults to these values, and as you content grows it inevitably starts to take longer to recycle the timer than is allowed before the next job in line attemtps to begin, throwing an error such as the one you report.

Check the timer job “Timer Service Recycle” (Central Administration –> Job Definitions)  and set it to something out of hours but not 1am (this error occured at 1.01am so I am guessing at 1am!).

The instructions above to delete old databases are valid.  Once the timer job has been changed then you should not recieve this error again.

Here is a list of all the timer jobs for reference:

Guys

Thanks for your help on this one.

I created a script to run daily to send myself a report of the deleted databases.
I also moved the job to 6PM was 6AM and was conflicting as you said.

Do you guys have time to take a look at this one that I have been struggling with
