I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

%systemroot%\debug\ on your new DC is the first place to look at, first of all %systemroot%\debug\dcpromo.log
Also check event viewer for errors or warnings.

The first warning required attention whereas the second warning can be ignored as the DNS delegation can be created later on.

Regarding the first warning, you may need to follow the procedure as per this article https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2948052 which might help you to resolve the issue.

Discovered some hidden issues with the old server, so since it's only 6 users I've elected just to do a fresh install for the domain. This was my test bed for two others that have 50 users, so wanted to try it on a small one that wouldn't be as much of a hassle. Thank you for your input!!

As stated these are WARNING messages and they are common when you are adding a new 2012DC to your environment. All you need to do is proceed.

Make sure that you check DNS to ensure that this DC is listed as one of the Name Servers. Once this has been confirmed point DNS to itself as Primary and your other DC as a secondary.

Finish the wizard.
