I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Add this code to your sheet.
Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)

    If Not Intersect(Target, Range("B1")) Is Nothing Then
        If DateDiff("d", Target, Now()) = 0 Then
            Range("B2:B10000").Interior.Color = 13551615
        Else
            Range("B2:B10000").Interior.ColorIndex = xlNone
        End If
    End If

End Sub

HI,

You could create a new rule in Conditional Formatting Rules Manager  with formula

=$B$1=INT(TODAY())

then Applies to
=$B$2:$B$10000

Not for points

I think you mean:
=INT($B$1)=TODAY()

since TODAY only returns a date, not time.
