Make sharepoint repository offline copy

Hi Experts, I would like to ask for advice for some good and cheap (obviously preferably free) sharepoint offline copy solution.

I was used to use Syncovery for some easy setup sharepoint sites and it worked OK. It worked OK when site was setup with explorer view mode.

however now with Sharepoint 2010 adn Sharepoint 2013 sites I often see case when it is not allowed to see files in explorer view. For such sites I am not able to create offline copy.

Can you advice?

Obviously I am not admin of those sites, i.e. I would need to download only those file which I can access via browser.

Many thanks in advance for your advice

Depending on what version you are using I would look into using OneDrive for Business application.  This is an application normally installed with Office 2013.  When you have it installed you will get a Sync option in the upper right corner when you have a document library open.  After syncing a copy is created on your local hard drive to be used when offline.
