It's not fully PST backup, but it takes only the mail parts (not contacts/calendar). In that case, I'd go for Mailstore (free for personal user, or buy it for the whole company).<br />
It will take the new mails, archive it in portable database file, and the archiving routine is just perfect (set it to read pdf, docx, xlsx, txt files), and when you do a search in Mailstore, it will even show you results if what you queried is inside the document.<br />
Then if you like it, just copy the whole database, and back it up somewhere else. If needed, install Mailstore on ANOTHER computer, restore the database, and you have FULL access to all those emails, including the easy searching.<br />
