I have cell A1,B1,C1.........., each cell is assigned to a day i.e. Jan 1, 2,3 etc

how can I if cells A1,B1,C1 are todays date, highlight the entire column

ie if A1 is today then highlight A2:1000000 or

This is basically the same as your last question - you just need to remove the \$ from in front of the column letter in the formula. So select all the data - e.g. A2:Z1000000 and use the formula:
=A\$1=TODAY()

Note this may make your workbook pretty slow. If it does, code such as Martin provided last time may be a better bet.

Hi

This is the max rows and columns in a sheet  1,048,576 rows by 16,384 columns.

I am not sure what you want to do with that selection but I just did the sum of them

Put the below formula in any cell that is empty and you will get the totals for A2 and B2 columns) .

=IF(A1=TODAY(),SUM(A2:A1000000)) , =IF(B1=TODAY(),SUM(B2:B1000000))
