Exchange 2010 mailbox unable to send mail to it or login to.

We have a single mailbox on an Exchange 2010 server that is unable to receive mail, login to webmail or connect with Outlook. I restarted the mail server once and the mailbox received my 2 test messages, but the person was not at the moment to reply. Now it is back in the same state again.
I've tried....
moving the box to another store but that fails.
mailbox repair.  (looks like this is telling me no problems, but have not used this so don't know what an error would look like)

Was going to try to use Veeam and restore the mailbox, but was a little afraid to, being Exchange.

Try below Steps.

1 . Export the PST

2. Disconnect the live mailbox.

3 . Create a new one and check mailflow internal and External

4. Import the Old data to the newly created mailbox.

5. Purge old mailbox.

If you are unable to export the mailbox using the native cmdlets i would highly recommend using Exchange Recovery from Kernel Data. You will be able to repair the mailbox and also export it to a PST.

Can you check if account is enable for Litigation Hold. Goto>User mailbox Properties>Click on Mailbox Settings tab>click Messaging Records Management>click Properties.

Check, if Enable Litigation Hold check box is enabled or not.

Took a chance on Veeam, created another address and restored all the mail there. Since this worked, I disabled the old address, recreated the mailbox again and am now restoring. 22GB, worked once, hopefully again.

Took a chance on creating a test address, restoring from Veeam and tested good. Now recovering original address, after disabling in Exchange.
