(SonicWall) LAN Trust between two lan segments?

I have a Dell Sonicwall NSA 220.  I have X0 setup as a LAN of 192.168.1.x and another on X2 of 192.168.253.X.  I want to be able to have both LAN's to see each other.  I already have "Allow Interface Trust" enabled under "Network/Zones" enabled.  I'm still not able to ping between the LAN segments.  Please help, thank you.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Just add two permit all statements for both directions between the two segments. This is under Firewall -> Access Rules.

I already have that setup.  LAN to LAN, both directions.  Please view attached graphic file.

A few things to check:

Are there any firewall rules above (higher priority) that would prevent lan to lan?

Under routing do you have something like:
Any       X0 Subnet            Any       0.0.0.0       X0       20       3
Any       X1 Subnet               Any       0.0.0.0       X1       20       4

On your network, do you have a route that would tell something what gateway to use to get from 192.168.1.x to 192.168.253.x and vice versa?
