ASP.MVC and Angular.MVC

I am an MVC C# developer interested in Angular. I see that also supports MVC, but my presumption is that Google created a really cool MVC framework out of JavaScript to help manage the web front end. I assume they got together nicely but there is no chance or replacing the ASP.MVC with Angular.MVC.

Please explain if they have the ability to work together in some great way, though.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I will read them, but I need to know quickly if my comment was correct. MVC on the server can not be replaced with MVC on Angular...right?

Hi  Newbieweb

In short below is the architecture

HTML --> Angular JS ( Controller) --> MVC Web API

Hence, you run AngularJS using  server-side MVC framework, ASP.NET MVC. So it is a supplement than a replacement. The goal is that the front end can be completely platform independent and you can move out necessary code to the controller tier.

Angular is really powerful is when it comes to routing and  nice with data binding and performance. It can be used to build Single Page Applications (SPAs).
