"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Try increasing Application Pool -> Advance Settings -> Shutdown Time Limit (Default value is 90).
If the problem persist, try looking for some long operations or bug in your software.

Is there any tool to find long operations to identify these kind of glitches?

Well, you can use a profiler but that needs some setup.
I suggest looking into IIS log first.
Look for Url with
- High Time Takens  (may need extra configuration)
- Error Code that starts with 5; ex. 504
- Url that was called near the time of error

try to review your code and make sure every connection with database is open & closed Properly

if you miss once connection open and didn't close it will ends up with hanging your application.

Thanks
