You could easily create a view on a given library showing all folders with their created by column.<br />

If the folders might no longer exist you probably want to ensure Audit is turned on so you can look for items that have been created, and filter for folders.

ok, sounds simple enough...<br />
One snag though, this particular Library has well over 3000 items.<br />

And to avoid screwing things up, do I just go to the Library, click library at the top then create a view?
