Can't view Access Database

Hi Experts,

hope someone can help me solve this issue, somehow a user has managed to reduce the view-able area size of the left hand side bar that you can access all the available forms from access, please look at the attached image.

I've tried changing the view and various other options but can't seem to expand it also its not just on one PC as i have tried opening it in few other PCs as well.

thanks in advance for your input!

This is how it looks now (left hand side bar)

Maybe I missing something, but there should be a splitter bar right under your yellow line.  All you should have to do is point to it, get the double arrow, and drag it to the right.

hi Jim

thank you for your comment, but I can't find that splitter bar in page area or even to the right of the scroll at the bottom of the side (left) bar.

is there a way to reset all view?

Try toggling the "Document Window Options" setting. Select the one that's not current enabled, then Compact the database, then reset the option back to the original setting.

Hi Scott,

thank you for your suggestion, I believe you are referring to this option as shown below? I've tried this and still the view is same as before.

That's pretty odd....ah...I duplicated this in A2013.  It's a bug.

Right click on the navigation pane, click on "Search Bar" at the bottom of the menu to turn it off.

You will now find you can resize the pane.  Expand it, then right click again and click on search bar to turn it back on.

Nuts, stuck again.....

OK, if you get stuck, hit F11 to minimize it.   you can then re-size it.
