"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi shamnad,

VLAN control for the guest OS is located here:

Hyper-V Manager > Host Server > Right Click on Guest Machine and select "settings" > Select "Network Adapter" under Hardware Section > Check the "Enable virtual LAN identification checkbox, set the VLAN ID in the text box.

VLAN control for the host OS is located here:

Hyper-V Manager > Virtual Network Manager > (Select Virtual Network you want to access the host on, or create a new virtual Network) > Check the "Enable virtual LAN identification for management operating system" checkbox. > Set the VLAN ID in the textbox.

Hope this helps!
