Windows 2008 Server drive to larger capacity

I'm running out of space on my Windows Server 2008 hard drive and need to migrate to a new, bigger hard drive. I don't need to make any changes besides moving it to a bigger drive. Looking for software for this I find specialized backup and cloning software (EaseUs, Acronis, Symantec)  for servers but it's often $100s of dollars. Is there a cheap or free program I can use that will move the server from the new hard drive? Do I need special software just because it's running Windows Server?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Is it a single drive or some RAID? If it is a single drive based system then use Clonezilla. It does nice work.

It's only a single drive. I'll try Clonezilla. Thanks very much!
