Setting URL Description field in SharePoint 2013

Hello,  I have a list of about 326 items and I want to set the description field for the URL to View_Map for all items in the list.    The URL's are all correct, I was able to do a global copy past from an Excel spreadsheet into the list for all of the URL's.  There does not seem to be an option to show the URL description field via a list.  I can only fix it one record at a time while editing the items in the list.   Is there any quick way or global way of doing this in the list itself?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Not aware of any great improvement. Only thing I can suggest is opening it in Datasheet view. You can right click on the link cell, and choose Hyperlink->Edit Hyperlink.

It's slightly faster because you're not opening the whole edit form, but not by a wide margin.

Hello Jamie,

Thanks for the information.  That does make it easier, but you are right that is not a great improvement but it is a little faster.  It would be great if SharePoint had the ability to layout the some of the sub fields, i.e. like the URL Description Field, in a spreadsheet form to be able to update on a mass basis.
