logger will log to the syslog with a priority (-p) facility.level (local0.error) and the tag (-t) apache.$FILEN ($FILEN is a parameter expansion, can be interpreted as a name or something)

For syslog, is it something that I need to install ?

What's the tag mean ?

Tks again.
Zephyr ICTCloud ArchitectCommented:
syslog is normally the log in your /var/log/ ... Nothing to install

The tag means the item will be logged in the syslog tagged with apache and whatever parameter expansion it has.

In very simple terms it means you'll get an error logged in the syslog of the system and it will have a tag mentioning it comes from apache... A tag is just used to give the error more context, so you can find out where it comes from.
