"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi Jim,

Do you have specific paths? and how flexible does the script need to be? i.e. do you want to be able to choose the source and destinations on calling the script or schedule the script as a task?

That is done much easier with RoboCopy, which is part of recent OS, because it maintains the folder structure, only copies changed files, and more. E.g.:
 RoboCopy \\server1\share1 \\server2\share2 *.ptx /s /njh
There are a lot of options for controlling the output, whether to retry on failure, etc.
