Exchange 2013 & Outlook 2013 Text Messaging

I currently have Exchange 2013 standard.  My clients are all running Outlook 2013.  How can I get them to send text messages via Outlook?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Please note that OMS interface (Outlook Mobile Service) in Outlook 2013 is gone but you can use third party SMS add on.

So to be clear... there is no native support for text messaging with Outlook 2013 and/or Exchange 2013?

Do you recommend any good 3rd party tools?

There isn't enough value in that feature for our environment so I can't comment but for Outlook 2013 your options are limited.  The redoxygen product gives you 30 day free trial and it seems quite popular for this purpose.  Nothing to lose trying it out.
