I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The whole concept of "Primary Domain Controllers" are long gone assuming you are using Server 2008/2012. You can assign roles to specific domain controllers in a forest as you please, as long as they have connectivity to all clients.

So FSMO roles can transfer from my "Primary AD Integrated Domain controller/DNS" to any another DC in same  Domain.rite?

Thank you
Shamil

What functional domain level do you have? If it is 2008 or above, yes, you can transfer the roles to different servers.
Shamil MohamedIT Infrastructure Engineer/IT Systems ManagerAuthor Commented:
Both Domain and Forest functional currently in 2008 R2 level.
CotillionCommented:
Then you should be fine to spread the roles around.
