We have few Windows 2008 R2 servers in test environment. We also have windows 2003 Terminal License servers and terminal servers in production environment. &nbsp;We are planning to replace the Windows 2003 TS License server with New windows 2008 R2 License server and put the Windows 2003 host name to windows 2008 server.<br />

Is there any impact/implications if we rename the RD License server <b>after the activation and CALs installation</b>. Or we have to rename and <b>then activate the License server and Install the CALs</b>.<br />

Rename the Remote Desktop services License Server
