Email address is no longer vailid Exchange 2013

After migrating a user from Exchange 2007 to 2013 one of the public folder email addresses she send as says it is no longer valid.

If I log in as a Exchange 2007 user I can send the message and it is received.
If I send the message from an outside address it errors too.
With:
The email address you entered couldn't be found, this
ill@forsythpl.org
Remote Server returned '550 5.1.1 RESOLVER.ADR.RecipNotFound; not found'
Original message headers:

Received: from emailserver2013.forsythpl.org (this is our 2013 Exchange server) our legacy serer is still online I am about 30% though my migration process.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

How are you moving mailboxes? Is it a local move, or did you also change domains and are doing a remote move? When you say legacy, 2007 or 2003? Is the mailbox in question already moved?

It sounds, from the surface, that the SID that was tied to the public folder address is not the same (as a new one was generated) in 2013. Are you using an auto-complete entry when sending from? If so, clear out the auto-complete entry in Outlook by typing the first few letters, and--when the name comes up--hitting the delete key. Then type in the from address manually so it's forced to go to the server.

Specifically for this make sure that the Public Folder has the X400 address assigned properly. Also check the emailaddress tab for this specific mail enabled public folder.

I am moving the users few at a time using the 2013 migration tool moving to a different database on the same domain.
Legacy server is 2007

I have not moved any of the public folders yet, still working on users.
This issue just came up after last nights move of 10 users
I have cleared out the auto complete but no difference.

Will
I checked the x400 address on the public folder, which is still on the legacy exchange and it looks correct

Thanks.

If you are using an Outlook 2013 machine anywhere, please do the following:

In the system tray, right click the Outlook icon while pressing the control key. You'll notice a 'Test E-mail AutoConfiguration' option in the context menu. Click on that. Enter the password (or have the user enter the password) for the email address. You can uncheck 'Use Guessmart' and 'Secure Guessmart Authentication'. Once you have the password entered, click on 'test'. Please post those results here (also please omit any server names or url names you wish to remain anonymous).

Here is what I have found in my testing.

1. This is only effecting 1 public folder the rest are working fine.
2. When I log into a user still on Exchange 2007 it works fine, and when I look at the properties for the folder the email address is shown.  I can also use the send as and it works fine.
3. When I log into a user still on Exchange 2013 when I look at the properties for the folder the email address blank.
4. When I send a email to this user say from gmail it comes back  that it does not exist.

Thank you for any ideas of what to check!
