print server set up on windows 2012R2

Hi All,

we are in process of upgrading 2003 servers to 2012 servers. the current 2003 server are serving as print server. to eliminate driver concern, we decided to download the latest print drivers (64bits) for 2012R2 and re-create print queue.

Question is do I need to download 32 bits drivers as well for client machine as they are all win 7 32 bits? or just 64bits printer drivers for 2012 R2 server?

yes, and you will need to add them in the printer sharing properties, select "additional printer drivers"
Make sure that they are exactly the same version number, or there may be problems.
