I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Firefox is not registry aware.
There are versions that are: frontmotion firefox CE. It works with administrative templates.
It's a really bad idea to stop updates to firefox. The main difference between the previous version and the newest of firefox are bugfixes and security holes that got plugged. If you keep on using the older version you are more at risk.
...and that's why frontmotion also has deployable MSI packages, which again, the original firefox does not offer.

i have Xenapp servers and i want to install one version of firfox and i don't want any user or background service to update the firfox

so after i got the ADMX temple and start to create GOP for this i don't find the right option which will prevent the update and the option which will let put the home page

so just please tell me the path inside the ADMX
I just did.
If you go there, you see the same paths as in the admx:
app.update.enabled should be set to false
browser.startup.homepage should be set to your page
