Windows Server 2012 Remote Desktop Services - Licensing

We are running Windows Server 2012 Remote Desktop Services.  I have the licensing configured for a 'Per User' basis.  I have a question with regards to the connected sessions.  If a user has multiple connected sessions, does each 'session' count as a used license?  I'm assuming that each user can have multiple sessions, whether showing as active or disconnected - but only using one user CAL. I ran a CAL usage report, and it shows one license assigned to each user.
Just need verification.
Thank you,

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Licensing based on "Per User", is really per username or user object. In this case the sessions by that user, is still valid by using one User CAL.
