Windows 7 Video quality distortion

Hi Experts,

I have a Dell Studio laptop which was running Windows Vista then I upgraded to Windows 7 Professional, I upgraded all the drivers but noticed that the video will work fine and suddenly gets distortion and blurry. If it's blurry I just place the mouse on the icon that is blurry and it will look fine again, the same thing happen if I open a web page where all the corners will look blurry. I have updated the display adapter and it says it's up to date.
Please advise

Which model?  This was a known issue with some Dell Studios (especially those supplied with 3GB RAM) on upgrading to Win 7 and corrected with a BIOS update (A08 on most Studio models) - which version do you have installed (usually displayed at boot).
