html form inside div

I created two jsp pages one with style and other with out style.
This is a simple login page and login page is shown for jsp page with out style sheet
but when I added style it doesn't work
I am trying to insert html form inside div tag and it's not working

Please check the attached jsp pages

index.jsp - you can see login page with username and password
index_withstyle.jsp - i don't see the text boxes of username and password
so how should i change this jsp page to see the login section and also to submit the page

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I can't help with the jsp side, but I do think you are mixing up what happens on the server with what happens on the client (the rendered html).  What I think you are asking is really a front end (client) question.   If you can render your html, then view the source in the browser  and past that here it will help. Or simply create a test page with a public link.

Showing us a link is really going to be the best because we need to see what is going on with all the linked js and css files.

If you want to give one thing a try first, change
<style type="text/css" media="all">@import "style/style.css";</style>

Open in new window

<style type="text/css" media="all">@import url('style/style.css');</style>

Open in new window

Also make sure you can surf to the style.css.  If you are using different folder levels, you may want to use an absolute path.
<style type="text/css" media="all">@import url('/style/style.css');</style>

Open in new window

This is the beginning of your new document...
HTML has changed and you should be able to follow some of the changes I have made.
I will look further down to see if any other big changes are necessary but so far I see your includes, stylesheets, meta statements need to be changed. I left the first style type tag you had to show how I changed it for a comparison.

<%@ taglib uri="" prefix="html" %>
<%include file="script/DD_belatedPNG.js"

      <meta http-eq<meta charset="UTF-8">
      <title>TEST GPS</title>
      <meta name="description" content="Website Description" />
      <meta name="keywords" content="Website Keywords" />
      <style type="text/css" media="all">@import "style/style.css";</style>
      <!--[if lt IE 7]>
      l<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="style/ie.css">

if (browsername.indexOf("Microsoft")!=-1) {browsername="MSIE"};
if (navigator.appVersion.indexOf("7.")!=-1) {browserversion="7"};
if (navigator.appVersion.indexOf("8.")!=-1) {browserversion="8"};
if ((objOffsetVersion=objAgent.indexOf("MSIE"))!=-1) { objbrowserName = "Microsoft Internet Explorer"};

To do your if and end if statement you can
<%if statement                                                %>

<% end if statement and braces%>

You don't need to wrap your body in a <p> tag unless you really plan to show the entire thing as a paragraph.
a <div class="container"> maybe but not a <p>

If you find you need some help with the navs in your code I highly recommend a going with a framework such as bootstrap to help out. They walk you through adding what you would need to and where.
