Crystal Reports 2008 & Subreports.

I have a report that contains a subreport, and the subreport items appear fine when the whole subreport is on the same page.  If the subreport spans over to the next page it truncates one line (the next item that should appear in sequence on the next page).  I have tried reimporting the subreport, removing the page footer, etc.  I created a new report, and it still truncates the next item that should appear on the following page.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Does the subreport look fine if you run it as a standalone report?

What printer driver do you have selected for the report or default to the machine?

cmp119IT ManagerAuthor Commented:
I am running the report directly in crystal as stand alone.  Before I even print the output I can see the report truncates the record.
mlmccCommented:
Crystal uses the printer driver to build the display on screen.

I meant to run the subreport as its own report.  You say you import it.  Does it look okay as a report?

mlmcc
cmp119IT ManagerAuthor Commented:
Yes the subreport works fine.  If I select keep object together all the records display fine.
mlmccCommented:
Is that object set to grow?

Do you have keep together set on it?

mlmcc
cmp119IT ManagerAuthor Commented:
Definately have Grow enabled.  I normally do not have keep together so that is spans over to the next page without showing major blank space.  However, for testing I enabled keep together for the subreport, and when it prints the whole subreport on one page all the records are intact.  When I disable keep together, the record that so happens to be the next one sequence that should list in the following page is truncated.
mlmccCommented:
I meant keep together on the object that is being truncated

mlmcc
cmp119IT ManagerAuthor Commented:
The object had keep together enabled, but I disabled it and the same result persists.
mlmccCommented:
I have seen the issue but I don't recall a fix other than the one you found with the keep together on the subreport.

Thanks for helping.  Not really the answer I was looking for, but I do not think there is anything that can be done.  It's said knowing this, but I think there is no other recourse.  Thanks for looking into the issue though.
